This prominent 17-acre parcel on Water Mill farmland suggested an architecture of restraint. The house is composed of simple white volumes, carefully combined. The house and outer buildings are deployed around a new farm pond. The driveway approach is from the side of the house, as is common with regional farm structures, defeating any association with the villa.
